What the phones do

No VAT is added, because we are not registered for it. What you see is what you pay. For SoftBo Desktop we are the seller and payment is handled by Stripe. For SoftBo Inventory the seller is Apple or Google, under their terms — which is also who refunds it.

The question nobody in this category answers, so here it is first.

Pay for twelve months and the version you hold is yours. Stop whenever you like and we send you a build with the cloud removed — no sign-in, no licence check, nothing to expire. It keeps counting for as long as the machine runs.

The connectors to Odoo, Shopify and the rest, and the account that holds their keys. Those cost us money every year, which is the honest reason there is a subscription at all — and they are exactly what stops.

It was a file on your machine the whole time, readable with free tools. We cannot lose it, leak it or hold it, and nothing you count is ever sent to us.

What is a hub?

The one machine that holds the data. SoftBo Desktop is a hub on a Mac or a Windows PC; SoftBo Inventory is a hub on a tablet. Phones pair to a desktop hub over your own network, and they come with it.

Do I need an account?

Yes, and it is used once at first run to deliver your licence, then about once a month to confirm it. Nothing about what you count is ever part of that.

What if I replace the machine?

Release the old one from your account page and install on the new one. No support ticket, no permission, nothing consumed.

Can I change my mind?

A free month first, no card. After that, thirty days from your first payment and we refund it in full, no questions. Cancel any time from your account page — never by writing to us.
