A hub is the one machine that holds your stock. There are two of them and they are different shapes: SoftBo Desktop runs on the machine behind the counter, SoftBo Inventory runs on a tablet you carry. SoftBo Companion is free and turns the phones your team already has into scanners.

An iPad or an Android tablet, and no other machine. Built for the place the signal drops — the back of the racking, a chiller, a container. It counts, receives, picks, prints labels and talks to Odoo or Shopify on its own.

Every phone on the floor

Pairs to a SoftBo Desktop hub and turns any phone into a scanner. Each phone sees only its own zone, bays lock as they are opened, and the phones relay for each other when the Wi-Fi drops — iPhone to iPhone, or Android to Android. Pairing to SoftBo Inventory’s Pro edition is in preparation.

Three rows are worth reading twice. Batches, expiry and serial numbers are on the tablet and not on the desktop — that is the honest state of it today, not a tier. The Offline edition has no connectors on purpose: nothing leaves the machine because there is nothing to leave through. And ten languages means the application, not this website: German, Spanish, French, Italian, Dutch, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Ukrainian and English, about 1,750 strings each.
